Move with greater ease, balance, and confidence
A calm, structured movement programme designed to help you improve mobility, posture, balance, body awareness, and confidence in the way you move.
A Gentle Approach with Real Purpose
Somatix is a practical movement system designed to improve posture, mobility, balance, and confidence, especially for adults over 50 who want to move with greater ease in everyday life.
Many people do not lose confidence in movement overnight. What often changes first is how the body feels: stiffness increases, balance feels less steady, and everyday tasks begin to feel harder. Somatix is designed to help reverse that pattern through calm, structured movement.

How Somatix May Help
People attending Somatix often begin to notice improvements such as:
-
Stiffness and tightness from sitting and phone use
-
Reduced balance and confidence on your feet
-
Neck, upper-back, hip, and lower-back tension
-
Weakness in the legs, hips, and core stability
-
Feeling unsure with stairs, chairs, uneven ground, and turning
What happens in a class
Each session includes posture reset work, gentle mobility, controlled strength, and simple balance drills. Everything is coached with options, so you can work at a level that feels safe and manageable.
Who Somatix is for
Somatix is ideal if you want to stay active and independent, improve steadiness, and build confidence in movement without high-impact training or pressure.
Where sessions take place

One of my Somatix classes Erin Rovers GAA Healthy Club

On Saturday, I was invited to deliver an Enjoy Smart Health movement and wellbeing workshop for Erin Rovers GAA Healthy Club. The session focused on simple, joint-friendly movements and breathing techniques that members can use before training, after matches, and in everyday life.
What we covered
- Dynamic warm-up drills to protect knees, hips, and backs
- Easy mobility exercises that can be used on the pitch and at home
- Breathing and the vagus nerve reset to calm the nervous system
- Practical tips for recovering better between training sessions
- Everyday habits that support long-term health and performance
Members left with a set of practical tools they can repeat in a few minutes a day to move more freely, feel less tense, and support their overall health, both on and off the pitch.
If you would like to book an Enjoy Smart Health workshop or class for your GAA, soccer, or running club, community group, or workplace, please email me at enjoysmarthealth@gmail.com
